With an unwavering commitment to excellence and compassion, Dr. Quinnie Phan brings both clinical expertise and heartfelt care to her dental practice. A proud graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, Dr. Phan earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with the highest honors — graduating Summa Cum Laude and ranked first in her class.

Her academic achievements were recognized with induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the prestigious national dental honor society.
Her dedication and leadership have also been honored by the Virginia Chapter of the American College of Dentists (ACD) and the International College of Dentists (ICD), accolades that reflect not only her scholastic excellence but also her potential to make a lasting impact on the profession.

The daughter of refugee parents, Dr. Phan approaches her career with deep gratitude and humility. She views her dental education as a privilege and embraces the philosophy of lifelong learning. Through continuing education and advanced training, she constantly seeks to expand her knowledge and refine her clinical skills — all with the goal of delivering the highest standard of care to her patients.

Dr. Phan’s passion for mentorship and education has led her to complete the Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program (ADCFP) through the American Dental Education Association (ADEA). She is deeply committed to inspiring the next generation of dental professionals and contributing to the future of dental education.

Driven by a strong sense of service, Dr. Phan is dedicated to increasing access to dental care for underserved communities. She has volunteered extensively at free clinics and dental outreach programs across Virginia, and her commitment to global health has taken her to Central America, where she provided vital dental services to rural populations in Belize.

When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Phan nurtures her creative spirit through art and design. She studied at ELISAVA – Barcelona School of Design and Engineering, where she explored her artistic interests and deepened her appreciation for aesthetics — a sensibility she brings to her work in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. An avid runner, Dr. Phan has completed two full marathons and finds joy and renewal in Virginia’s beautiful outdoor trails. Though originally from Arizona, she now proudly calls Virginia home.

To me, the challenge that every patient brings is what excites me the most about dentistry. I consider it a privilege to be able to put what I have learned to my patients’ service, and thus enable them to achieve the oral health they deserve. We see every day in our office how patients regain their confidence when they have a beautiful smile to show the world. That same confidence gives them a new perspective in life, and that is priceless. I truly enjoy interacting with my patients. I take the time to get to know them beyond the dental chair. I cherish them as individuals and long-time friends, and am grateful to practice in a multicultural area where we can learn so much about different experiences, traditions, and cultures. I have grown so much as a human being thanks to my patients.

Dentistry is, in my opinion, one of the fields where it matters the most to be up to date, because it is constantly evolving. Dental materials, techniques, and procedures are constantly changing to enable us to provide better service to our patients.
To stay current with all the possibilities that contemporary dentistry offers, I have continued my education at the world-renowned Dawson Academy, with Spear Education, and with Align Technology, Inc., which has allowed me to achieve Preferred Provider status with Invisalign®.

Outside the Office
I met my wife Fernanda in Lima, Peru when we were 16 years old; we’ve been together ever since. We got married in 1996 and we have two children, Micaela and Joaquin. During my lunch time, you will find me at the gym, but the rest of my free time is spent with my family.
My wife and I have been touched on a very personal level by cancer and autism. Therefore, we dedicate our efforts to any cause that addresses them, including the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Autism Speaks, and Wintergreen Adaptive Sports. We also support several Fairfax County and Loudoun County public schools and their PTAs, and the Assistance League of Northern Virginia.

Dr. LaScola was born and raised in Northern Virginia and is proud to serve the community she has always called home. She attended James Madison University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, before continuing her education at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery.

Dr. LaScola is deeply committed to providing exceptional, comprehensive dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. She takes a patient-centered approach to treatment, believing that the best outcomes are achieved through trust, education, and open communication. She prioritizes taking the time to listen to each patient’s concerns, clearly explain treatment options, and ensure patients feel confident and well-informed every step of the way. Her goal is to not only improve oral health, but also to help patients feel at ease and truly cared for during every visit.

Dedicated to staying current with advancements in dentistry, Dr. LaScola continually pursues ongoing education to bring the latest techniques and technology into her practice. She is also an active member of the professional dental community through her involvement in the American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), and Northern Virginia Dental Society (NVDS). Through these organizations, she remains engaged with the latest developments in the field and upholds the highest standards of patient care.

Outside of the office, Dr. LaScola enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and recipes, and spending quality time with her family and dogs. She looks forward to welcoming you and helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile.
